ATA Spec 300 Shipping Containers
ATA Spec 300 Shipping Containers are lab tested and engineered to last: Every Bragley ATA Container meets or exceeds all requirements of the Air Transportation Association (SPEC 300 Category I). Laboratory tests have found Bragley ATA Containers to be water resistant, dust proof, and structurally resistant to repeated impact and excessive shock. Field reports confirm Bragley reusable containers provide years of service, making well over 100 round trips. All test reports are available upon request.
Container Construction
Custom Foam Interiors: All Bragley ATA Containers are available with custom engineered interiors, constructed from the most modern shock absorbing packaging materials known. Foam type is determined by specific need for deflection, elasticity, and performance under load.
Polyurethane esters, ethers and polyethylene foams are canvas covered, die cut, and fabricated to protect the most delicate instruments.
Container Shell: Container wall materials are selected according to specific application. Characteristics such as weight and overall dimensions of the object to be packaged, fragility, and environmental conditions determine case wall material.
High-impact plastics and textured aluminum are laminated to 1/4" or 1/2" solid core plywood to construct rigid, durable case shells. 3/16" and 1/4" high-density polyethylene container wall are shock absorbent, solvent resistant, and will not blister or peel.
Structural Aluminum Framework: Double angle, heat-tempered aluminum extrusions are internally fastened with pneumatic driven steel fasteners. Extra-thick aluminum alloy edge closures are pressure fit and machine riveted to case walls.
Hardware: All Bragley ATA Containers feature steel recessed twist or draw latches, rubber gripped recessed handles, steel corner guards, and heavy-duty continuous hinges. All hardware is attached with bifurcated or tubular machine driven rivets.
